Good morning, everyone! Bee’s brother’s Steven and William came to see the 4Fives. We did another Scroll-A-Thon, just like we did last year. It was even better this year, because we had our Superforest team with us! SFJ and SFJ2 came to be a big part of the Scroll-A-Thon and they made it even more cool.
What I like about the scroll is It is very fun and why I think it is fun is because you can mix the colors up and then it looks beautiful and I am going to tell you how you make a scroll.
Step 1. Get a cup of water.
Step 2. You get any color you like of a strip of fabric.
Step 3. Dip the end of the fabric in the water.
Step 4. Roll the fabric up really tightly.
Step 5. If you want a second color you can add it around your first scroll. Just repeat steps 1-4.
And those are the details for a Scroll-A-Thon. It is not that hard. Oh yeah, and when you get a strip of fabric you have to pull off the threads on the side of it. But it is very fun and you can make it very fat, big, skinny, or you can make it very small just like mine. If you want to make it stand up you will have to make it big and fat so it can stand up, but you don’t have to make it big and fat. You can make it small if you want. It’s really just up to you. I think that this is what makes the scrolls like art.
AND if you have old clothes, save them! You can rip them up into strips to make scrolls. You can make your own scroll, and one day you might be famous for it.
The best part was when William was stitching the scrolls together. That was cool. Now our scrolls are hanging in our window and they look beautiful.
